Well what did l tell you , summer will soon be over, and you blink your eyes and the summer has gone. And what a crap summer it was, that's three on the bounce!!!!!! Ok,some venues fished terrible but you have to take the rough with the smooth, when all said and done its just a day out with the lads some would think its life and death!!!!. What really upsets me is the fact that when members do no good they walk off the bank with a big bottom lip!!!!! after the match. just think after the season l had ! its a wonder l haven't stuck all my gear on ebay. At the end of the day, its just a day out with the lads, for myself l can only blame the fact that l don't fish pellet which is wrong, much prefer fishing caster but l really don't mind, don't get me wrong no one loves winning more than l do, but these days lam quite happy if the day runs to plan and there is no cock ups.there is nothing worse that sitting there for five hours catching nothing with the guys either side moaning about it all day !!!! changing the subject we will have couple of new venues next year along side some of the old favorites and yea never know it could be your season next year, the standard of anglers is getting quite high now in both divisions so its harder to win than ever but all as we can do is try and up our game and try to continually improve. For me now its all about the winter league , in winter when on some matches its about getting one bite and hitting that one bite when it comes, it all comes down to preparation. it amazes me how many anglers don't come properly dressed rule 1 get togged up with plenty of layers its easy to take them off if your to warm but harder to put on if you've not got any.rule 2 take along a hot drink and plenty of it, rule 3 have plenty of rigs made up there is nothing worse than trashing a rig and then making one up on the bank with your fingers dropping off with cold rule 4 take it for what it is you are not going to bag up in the middle of January remember a good weight is a winning weight and if you get top points in your section its a a job well done!!!! and enjoy it for what it is!!! tight lines see you all in May Kenny
