It was nice to see all the lads back together again l thought the day would never come but summer is here at last. As you all know, we lost one of the founder members to our club. Ste Walsh loved his fishing and loved the club, in fact l cannot remember him saying a bad word of anybody he was a true gentleman as we fished the winter league which Ste loved ,he had his own match to win against cancer he never gave in and fought it to the end. it was nice to see all the lads paying their respect before the match the only thing left to say is, tight lines Ste sleep tight mate.
Moving on, well the first round has now been fished the venue did not fish as well as expected but that's fishing l suppose, some big names went out of the first round of the KO which makes it more exciting.
the next round is another new venue, some of the lads have been to Weston pools and the report back was of a mixed fishery but still a bit young with no real big lumps in, so you better get up to speed.
Last and by no means least the stopover if you need a a room better tell stleely fast don't be coming to him at the last minute because you could end up disappointed
